Welcome to the Piece of Cake edition of Stamp Review Crew. It was so fun to bust this stamp set out again. It’s adorable. I created a few much needed birthday cards.
What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that get together to blog hop the first and third Monday of each month. For each hop we chose a single stamp set to feature. All of our hops are archived. Click here to see all of the hops!
This first card is all about texture and layers. I added a little stitching to push it over the top.
Need a quick birthday note? This card uses the candles repeatedly to create a sweet little border. The candles have been colored using Stampin’ Blends and the verse is popped on top. Simple and sweet.
This last card is all about the clustering and laying of elements. First I stamped a candle border. Then I layered over it with thread. Next I added a little punched out vellum. On top of that is the cake image and that glittery pedestal. Sequins and the greeting finish it off. Super fun!
Ready for more inspiration using this stamp set? Next up is the oh so talented Kelly. Be sure to go through the hop to see what ALL my talented friends have created using this set. Thanks in advance for taking the time to comment. I love to hear from you.
