It's only September, I know. Weather is cooling off and it's nowhere near time for the Holidays but you can start crafting. Never a bad time for that. I had so much FUN creating samples from the Home for Christmas collection. Seriously. Many Christmas ideas inspired by the nostalgic look of the Home for Christmas Collection. This look it's not typically my go to style, and at first I thought this might be hard to use, but the cards came together quickly! Tip - cut out and create a few primary embellishments from the designer paper and then go to town.
Neighbor Gifting!
We sure love our Sandy, Utah neighbors! Every year I usually gift something homemade. We wanted to thank them for being such awesome neighbors and friends. This summer I made a ton of jam in various flavors (all fruits from the garden) and thought this would be a nice farewell gift, along with some yummy great harvest bread.
Similar style packaging as my previous posts... I am pleased with how these turned out. Super cute! I hope they all enjoy. We will miss our neighbors.
Brown paper packages
I love this trend of brown paper packages tied up with string - baker's twine. I've used this look a bit in my holiday gift wrapping this year. First with little gift packages I created for the gals at card club. These gifts are packaged in printed chevron kraft bags and topped with red card stock, a doily and a printed label.
Second with the 12 days of Craftmas gifts I annually prepare. I usually make three sets of 12 days packages but due to my stress level this year I only got one completed. And, too boot - not delivered on time. Oh well. It's the thought, right? These packages are wrapped in kraft butcher's paper and tied up with tinsel trim. I also used a paper doily on these gifts. The presents seemed a little plain without the doily and I like how it helps to showcase the tag which states which day to open the gift.
I created the tags in illustrator for both and used the Harmon font family for most of the typesetting. I am please with how these gifts turned out and hope they were and will be fun to open.
Mingle all the Way tags
Create super fast and simple Christmas tags with a quick bit of marker omitting, a bit of washi tape, and the Tree punch.
