Care for a Carrot? Basket Bunch & treat box download
Easter and Spring break is just a short week away. Hoping the snow melts in time for a little egg hunt. If not, I've got carrots on hand. LOL. These are a sweet little orange treat box I created for a few family peeps in Utah. I'm packing up to mail out today.
I created this fun box template after a few failed attempts. I'm sharing this carrot box design. My gift to you! You can download the PDF here. Print it on a sheet of card stock. Cut out perimeter, score interior lines, fold and adhere - it's pretty easy to assemble. Use a strong glue. You can get two carrots from one sheet of 8.5 x 11 card stock.
I paired this carrot box with the Basket Bunch bundle. I used the grass piece from the framelits to create the leafy carrot top. To recreate: Cut grass from framelit. Create a score line 1/4" up from the bottom edge of the grass. Paper snip every quarter inch up to the score line. Roll and fold in the little snips to create a base for glueing onto the box.
I made small tags for each box using the bunny and carrot images from the Basket Bunch stamp set. These carrot boxes are the perfect size to house mini jelly beans. Happy Easter!
Basket Bunch - What Will You Stamp Challenge
The Basket Bunch stamp set is so cute & egg-stra special! LOL. I am totally in love with it. Basket Bunch is also this weeks What Will You Stamp challenge set. This stamp set has Easter/Spring images and coordinating framelits.
I created two cards for this weeks challenge both using the easter egg images and sentiment from the set. The first card uses the sweet basket from the framelits. This card is a little more detailed. The second card is super simple and basically uses stamps, ink and paper.
Check out what the team created over on the WWYS blog and play along if you have this set. Happy spring!
