Welcome to another Stamp Crew Review Blog Hop! We share our take on a selected stamp set every first and third Monday. Today we stamp with the Lift me Up stamp set and coordinating thinlits. This stamp set is available in the Occasions mini catalog.
If you are following the hop in order, you have just arrived from Tanya's blog. She is the most amazing stamper!
Today I am sharing two cards that use two different inking techniques for the primary image.
On the Bermuda Bay card (above) I used the balloon punch out from the framelit as a stencil and misted over that image with Bermuda Bay ink that I loaded into a Stampin' Spritzer. I then framed the balloon image with the outline (the negative) of the balloon shape. I think spritzing the hot air balloon adds a soft and interesting texture to the image, almost like the balloon is appearing through clouds.
On the Balloon card below I used a stamping sponge to directly transfer Bermuda Bay ink to a sheet of Whisper White card stock. I did this in a random pattern. Then I chose the which area I like best to cut out with the hot air balloon framelit. This gives the balloon a similar appearance to the card above without the softness.
Thanks for stopping by. Next you will head to Ann's blog, another super talented stamper. This hop is breaming with talent! You can start at the beginning of the hop by clicking the "Stamp Review Crew" banner above. Enjoy!
Still here? Ok, I have really gotten a ton of use out of this set. Below are a bunch of samples that I've shared previously over last couple of months. It's fun to see them all on one place.
