Hello friends. Welcome to Monday Montage hop and to Global Design Project challenge #gdp380.
On Sunday I went down a reel rabbit hole. Have you ever done that? I started watching craft reels and 30 minutes later I was a zombie. The last reel I watches was of someone who created a fun heart painting by stamping heart cookie cutters in ink and transferring the heart images onto watercolor paper. They used the ink from the perimeter of the stamped heart to watercolor the image. I wish I could attribute the person as the technique was super cool but I didn't save the reel.
That reel inspired me to try something similar with dies. I tried to stamp with dies. It was a bit tricky, messy and not as easy as I would of hoped but I kept with it and came up with this card. I used the small heart dies from the Give It a Whirl dies, these were the only heart dies I had (use what you have). The LOVE stamp is from the Fragrant Flowers stamp set and works great as a sentiment on a conversation heart. You can see this cardmaking attempt in my instagram reels.
We are CASEing a card from Janneke for #GDP380 - I used the same four colors she used on her card and a similar layout. Follow the @global_design_project instagram account! Play along with us and tag your project #gdp380. More details below.
