Hello and welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Thing monthly blog hop. This hop is all about creating and sharing alternate projects for the current Paper Pumpkin kit. This month’s Paper Pumpkin kit is called ‘Celebrating InColor’.
This kit is all about the five new InColors Stampin’ Up! released in early May. These trendy new colors will be around for 2 years. I’m thrilled about this kit and paired the contents with InColor Stampin’ Blends and the InColor 6x6 Designer Series Papers.
You can watch the YouTUbe video below to see how this kit is intended to be used.
I created two monochromatic cards. One featuring all things Parakeet Party and the other focusing on Starry Sky. I liked the approach of focusing in on one color. The Parakeet Party card has a fun interactive pocket on the front of the card that I plan to insert a gift card into. I’ve created a pull out tag that the card can be a companion to the gift card.
This card used the little star snowflake image to create a wintery background. These have been stamped in VersaMark and heat set with white emboss powder. The Happy Holidays sentiment is also embossed.
