Yikes! I spent the day at the beach and completely neglected posting this on time. If you are visiting again, thanks for your patience!
Let's talk Varied Vases. This edition of the Stamp Review the crew will show many inspiring ideas using this fun builder stamp set. I love this set. It's super cute and very versatile. The set includes 34 images and coordinated with the Vase builder punch.
This stamp set & punch design was directed by Mary Fish as part of her million dollar sales achievement. Read more about this on Mary's blog.
I have a few additional projects to share I created previously at the end of this post.
Let's talk about this card a little. I opted to created a card using green, purple and black ... what?! I don't think I've ever used these colors together, seriously. In hindsight I am questioning myself. What was I thinking? It would make a great Halloween color combo, that is for certain. Ha!
The background watercolor was created so easily. Did you happen to notice the shape is the exact same size as Stampin' Up's ink pad? To get a similar look all you need to do is wet watercolor paper and then directly stamp the pad (yes the pad) onto the wet paper. Blend and smooth out the ink as desired. So easy, right?
The greeting is stamped in Memento ink directly onto the watercolor background (after the background has dried). I used my Stamparatus for exact placement and inked up the verse a few times to stamp it good and dark.
Next up is: Tanya. You can catch the full Varied Vases blog roll below and thanks again for joining us on this edition of Stamp Review Crew.
