Hello! Happy July 1 and Canada day for my Canadian friends. Welcome to the Tropical Chic edition of Stamp Review Crew. Tropical Chic is a gorgeous tropical stamp set with coordinating dies. I ordered this stamp set last minute so I could play along and somehow I missed ordering the papers when I ordered ... oops. So I decided to mix up the colors a little bit and try something different than what the suite is suggesting.
What is this hop all about? The Stamp Review Crew is a group of International Stampin' Up! demonstrators who want to show you how much you can do with ONE stamp set. Each edition the SR Crew will showcase a new featured stamp set. Each stop along the hop will show you a different idea, or ideas using that set!
This card uses the colors Lemon Lime Twist and Blackberry Bliss. Bright and different. I'm not sure I've ever seen a blackberry colored hibiscus in real life. A quick internet search shows there are black versions of the Rose of Sharon, one in particular called the Black Dragon. I might need to track one of these down for my yard. SO PRETTY!
This card also uses the Layered Leaves Dynamic embossing folder to create the leafy background. I like how this card has leaves, upon leaves. Full supply list can be found below.
What do you think? Are you ready to see loads of ideas with this stamp set? Next up is Adriana over at Cup & Ink! Thanks so much for stopping by, and please know I appreciate you and your comments. You are the greatest!
