Hello! I am certainly getting a lot of use from the Spooky Cat Stamp set. Did you see all the fun samples shared last week? Well, I'm back with the Stamp Review Crew sharing some creations using this set and a little bit of Basic Black and Fresh Fig.
My first card uses the pieces & patterns washi tape to create the background. I stamped the rats and the hashmarks along the top and bottom in black adding to the pattern effect. I like the look of this background and can see this technique being effective on many card styles.
The black and fig really pop when placed on a white paper base. I'm also loving pairing just a glimpse of the Merry Music designer series paper with the back and white striped ribbon. Evokes a little mood / look of music piano keys - perhaps there is spooky harpsichord music playing somewhere? I folded the paper so NO obvious Christmas words are peeking out. There is the word HITCH showing that on first glance might read as something else given this is a WITCH card. LOL.
I can't wait for you to see what the rest of the fabulous team stamped for the Spooky Cat edition of the Stamp Review. Thanks for stopping by and always THANK YOU for the kind words and comments.
