I've posted about my friend Paula before. I am so impressed with her. Not only is she the nicest person on the planet she is also super creative and a smart entrepreneur. She is a small business owner and makes and sells handmade goods. She is an excellent seamstress. She sells her products on etsy and if you are in need of an ironing board cover, table cloth, waste basket, or anything custom check out her store. She's been in business for a few years and is a great success story of going it on your own and selling handmade.
I really wanted to do something nice for her - she is always thinking of others. I decided to create an identity for her shop. I messed around and, with her input, created her a small brand identity (logo, business card, thank you tag, care instructions, and rubber stamp). I really like how it turned out and she was excited. She hand wraps and packages each purchase with a tag. I can't wait to see the cards and tags in use. Guess I need to order something from her...
I had a rubber stamp of the logo made at thestampmaker.com, it was really affordable and easy to do. Just upload your predesigned file and choose a size. Be sure to search the web for a coupon code first - I found a 20% coupon off easily. While the actual stamp isn't the prettiest it functions perfectly. I will absolutely use this site again.
