Every month I hold a card club. Here are the projects we made in January. I primarily used products from the Stampin' Up! Occasions mini catalog and Sale-a-bration catalog. I am going to try to post the projects we make in card club on the blog this year. Last year I held club almost every month but did not document anything we made and so this year I want to start keeping track.

If I'm ambitious I may even post supplies. But for now, the photos will have to suffice.

Quick 2-color watercolor! I stamped the large orange image in Memento Tuxedo black ink onto cold press watercolor paper. I painted a quick wet wash and then dropped in color into those washes. This stamp set is called Citrus Blooms. 🍊 The card base was created by cutting strips of green cardstock and alternating colors to create diagonal stripes. #cardmaking #stampinup #citrusbloomsbundle #citrusbloomsstampset #cardmaking #cardmakersofinstagram #cardmakingideas #cardmakers #cardmakingreels

I’m loving all the green stripes on this fruity card. Stamp, stamp, stamp, punch, punch punch, love, love, love. A little repetition never hurt … here’s a peek at how I created this card for the USE YOUR STASH insta hop using an old word stamp set ‘Labels to Love’. Our theme this month is WORDS. I used a small dab of liquid glue to attach the bow. It would not stick! I weighed it down with a clear block until it stuck. USE YOUR STASH! This Instagram hop is all about digging into and using your old craft supplies—aka your stash! This month’s theme is WORDS. I’ve held onto many word stamp sets over the years, especially ones I designed. The LOVE image I used here comes from the 'Labels to Love' stamp set that was released in 2016-2017. This was a simple card to create. I stamped the LOVE image in multiple colors, punched them out, and arranged them in a grid pattern on the card front. Do you recognize that old tag punch? It's a classic that will never leave my stash—haha! To make the larger greeting, I die-cut the words LOVE and YOU and combined them. I added a bow from a 50-yard spool of black and white baker's twine that is seemingly endless. Want to see what my friends have created using products they could not give up? Me too! Butterfly birthday! I used the sketch from @global_design_project #gdp482 challenge to create this card using the Beautiful Butterflies bundle. I followed the sketch fairly close. No thinking required. The glittery butterflies are cut from Pastel Ombre Glimmer Paper, in dark to light.
