We made it through the weekend and made much progress on the yard. The weather held nice even if it was a bit chilly.

Chris is totally amazing and, with some help from the boys, framed in and finished all of the garden boxes. They look awesome and I love them! He spent all day Saturday and Sunday laboring and assembling them. In all I think he and Andrew made 5 trips to Home Depot for lumber. I need to line them with barrier cloth and then they will be ready for dirt.

The rock wall is also finished but I never really posted any pictures of the work or the finished product. It has dramatically changed the look of the back yard.

The trampoline project is also almost complete. There was a ridiculously giant hole dug in the yard to accommodate the trampoline (we thought we were nuts when it was dug out). A plastic retaining wall was assembled to line the hole and then the tramp frame inserted. The hole looks much better (not so ridiculous) with the tram sunk into it. I think it will finish up nicely and make the trampoline look much less obtrusive in the yard.

I will say Lucy is totally in love with the dirt yard. If she had her way, it would remain entirely dirt.
