Before the trip dad contacted Skip and Shauna to let them know we were coming to Germany and see if we could get together. We were able to meet up today and they drove us up to Rothenburg (about 2 hours away from Heidelberg). We had a really great time visiting, seeing the great sights, torture museum, cathedrals, old town and just soaking it all in. What a beautiful and interesting place. We had a really nice lunch with yummy local dessert. Thank you to Skip and Shauna for such a great day!
