BEEP BEEP! Time for a little Tasty Trucks. This is the most darling set. Today I'm sharing two 'sweet' truck cards (Ice Cream and Cupcakes). I kinda of wish a cupcake truck was a real thing! Stop by later this week as I have so many more cute samples to share made from this set, I couldn't get my act together to post them all today. Tasty Trucks is the What Will You Stamp challenge set for this week. Hop over to the WWYS blog to see more cool projects using this set. Sunshine Sayings Love You cards - Stamp Review Crew
Hello! Welcome to the Sunshine Sayings edition blog hop for the Stamp Review Crew. I am so glad you are here and hope this hop inspires you to create something!
A little about the Stamp Review Crew hop, taken from the SRC site ... We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who want to show you how much you can do with one stamp set. We will feature one stamp set with each blog hop, and each stop on the hop will show you a different idea using that set! We post on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month.
I have three card ideas to share today, all themed around LOVE. I may keep these on hand for wedding cards or send out for Valentine's day. I haven't decided. The first two cards are very similar in layout & technique, and are fairly easy to figure out.
Stamp the brushstroke image from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set onto watercolor paper. Paint over that image with a paint brush and water to blur it and make it bleed a little. Die cut a Heart from the Sunshine Wishes thinlet. Frame that blurred out stamp image with the die cut heart and continue to build the card from there. Supplies for each card are listed below the last image for each card.
I made a few other cards using list set a few weeks ago, if interested you can see those cards here.
This last little 3x3 cutie is so simple to make and uses basic supplies, just ink and paper! I created the watermelon background by painting the top portion of the card using Watermelon Wonder refill ink and a basic paint brush. I used only Whisper White card stock on this card and like how the ink brush stokes appear in the WW paper. The little die cut heart was created by trimming away pieces from the butterfly image that is part of Sunshine Wishes thinlet dies.
Thanks again for visiting. This hop is amazing, be prepared to be wowed! If you are moving forward in this hop you'll continue onto Mike Funke's blog. You just came from Betty Traciak's blog. If you get lost or the links are broken click here.
