Halloween Treat stamp is is meanly meant for quick tags that you can add to a treat easily. As they state on the Su website "It's no trick, this stamp is a pure treat. No need to overcomplicate things; this is the quick and easy way to get your Halloween message out there." I decided to use this image for the primary focal point of this card. I inked the stamp with various markers before stamping. The stamp image is also super easy to cut out. I added a cute little Boo Banner at the bottom of the card with images from Mr. Funny Bones.
Mr. Funny Bones - week of Halloween projects
HAPPY SPOOKY CREEPY SCARY! Welcome to day 3 of my week of Halloween projects. Today's card uses Mr. Funny Bones, a builder stamp set with endless options on ways to combine images. This is a Happy card for sure, with fun and playful Halloween images collaged together. Isn't that large silver foil spiderweb great? It comes from a sheet of specialty paper from the Halloween Night designer series paper pack. I like that this foil paper is a heavier weight and can be used at a card base without mounting to another sheet of paper.
Ghoulish Grunge, Mr. Funny Bones - week of Halloween projects
It's the first week October and I am fully in the spooky spirit. I am planning to share Halloween cards & projects all week long.
Hanging sugar skulls ... everything about this card is a little off kilter and is kind of morbid but also perfect for Halloween!
These projects get a high five! This tag is a fun way to use the hand stamp image and saying.
Ghoulish Grunge - WWYS84
It's been a year since I joined the WWYS design team. Can you believe it? Here was my first post from last year in case you want to look back with me. I started on #32 and we are now at #84. 52 weeks worth of cards. Pretty cool to reach a goal to stamp every week. I will admit that some cards are way more successful than others but regardless, I am using my stash and enjoying myself!
Onto business ... Ghoulish Grunge is the challenge stamp set for this week. It is the coolest stamp set and includes all of these great texture and background images perfect for Halloween and collage crafting. The set also includes couple images that are versatile for any occasion. Take a look at all the stamp set inspiration from a great and talented group of gals on design team at the What Will You Stamp blog.
I took a pretty traditional approach and stamped and embossed the spiderweb image from this set on my card. I decided to use a little pop of pink and purple to accent the heavy black and gray, a little unexpected halloween color combo.
There are so many awesome Halloween stamp set options in this years Stampin' Up! Holiday mini catalog. So much so, I am planning a card or project share every day this week! For this card I pulled verses from the Halloween Treat tag and Mr. Funny Bones.
