Happy February! LOVE LOVE LOVE. So many funs things to make in February. Here is a fun and simple (ish) Valentine card using the heart from the Lift Me Up stamp set.

A little about my project ...
I stamped the large Thank You phrase in Versamark ink onto watercolor paper and then heat embossed with white emboss power. Next I added the Crushed Curry color with an aqua painter, paying extra attention to add a darker watercolor shadow detail under each letter. I love how this technique makes the Thank You pop off the card. I like this card so much I created an alternate version in Melon Mambo, shown below.

I made this card for my Grandma. While her birthday is still a ways away I wanted to create a card specific for her. I can't decide if I LOVE this card. Is the the color? Or the pattern paper? Just not sure. I may need to take another try on this card at a later date.
