November's Paper Pumpkin Kit is called Mistletoe and Holly and it is super cute! With my paper pumpkin kits I always make the recommended samples first and then just start to play with all of the components to come up with other projects. I usually try to limit myself to the basic kit supplies and pull in additional coordinating inks. This month I added a few punches to create gift tags. Pressure free crafting!
Acorny Thank You - WWYS Challenge #35
One of my most favorite sets from the Stampin' Up! Holiday mini just happens to be this weeks (WWYS) What Will You Stamp Design team challenge set, Acorny Thank You. This set is so easy to stamp, punch out, and make an awesome card.
I used the Grateful for You greeting from this set to create a pattern by stamping in full color Delightful Dijon and then stamping again before inking the stamp again. This stamp set is clear photopolymer and is easy to line up by eyeballing the spacing. I could have gotten more exact alignment if I had used the stamp-a-ma-jig but I liked the less than perfect results.
I hope you enjoyed this Acorny Thank You card. I am grateful you stopped by! You can play along too ... create a project and then post a picture of your sample to the (WWYS) blog.

Blissful Bouquet - Alternates for Paper Pumpkin Oct 2015
October's Paper Pumpkin kit arrived. It's a pretty kit! GREAT NEWS, every kit generates an extra dollar toward Breast cancer research. Win/win. Here are a few of the alternates I created with this months kit.
Among the Branches - WWYS Challenge #34
This week the (WWYS) What Will You Stamp Design team was challenged to use the Among the Branches stamp set. This is a great set especially when paired with the Woodland Embossing Folder. I am excited to see what the rest of the team creates with this set! You can play along too, create your project and then post your sample to the (WWYS) blog for all to see.
This color combination has different spin and is something a little less traditional for fall. I gave the branches a little pop of pink by mixing a little Watermelon Wonder ink to Craft Whisper white ink. I used a sponge dauber to apply the mixed ink. If I try this technique again I think I'll use a paint brush for a little more control. It was hard to color in the lines of the trees.
I hope you enjoyed my project this week, thanks for looking. Head on over to the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog and check out the rest of the Design Team's amazing projects using the Among the Branches stamp set. Happy stamping!
